I saw the bottom half of this meme and knew immediately what I needed to do.
(I heard a rumor he was thinking of a 4th book in the series now. Lord help us)Is that Rothfuss? A 4th book??? When we have seen nothing of the 3rd one yet??? Dayum, this is as bad as GRRM. Honestly, I got to wondering how he was going to tie up everything in just three books. Figured there would be another one, but c'mon, dude!!! You're killing us here. And, um, what's with all the boxes of Cheerios? *backs away slowly* |

Ugh... the tiniest little bit of romance in a scene causes this for me. It'll take me a day to squeeze out a single paragraph, maybe even a couple of sentences. And exposition on setting or, God help me, transition paragraphs! Those are the worst. I HATE writing transitions and setting/ambiance things. What to include? How much is too much? Why can't I envision this place and a fitting mood? How to make this scene flow into the next one so I can get to the important stuff? But action scenes? Arguments? No problem.  |

Bahahaha!!!  Shakespeare humor. That last one had me rolling. What a mess.  Aaaaand this one... Given how much research I've had to do on the Middle East and Islam, I'm having to fight fears that I've been added to the FBI watch list. At first I was terrified to look up prayer times and prayer postures, for goodness' sake, for fear dudes in suits would show up at my door. Now I'm like, Meh, whatever clicky clicky all the links. I guess I should be rejoicing that I'm not researching for a murder mystery... "The easiest way to poison one's spouse"... Yeah, just for a novel. You gotta believe me, judge. |
