Go ahead and count me in. I tend to produce only poetry that rhymes....well, sort of....and I know that's not to everyone's taste, but I'm rubbish at blank verse.
So...anyway....I'll give it a shot.

Ugh, finally puked a rough draft for this thing. Not sure it hit the mark I was aiming for. Oh, well. Got a few days left to fix it.
How is everyone else doing?
Edit: Please note, I updated the template required with your entries, adding a "Lines" field, to spare myself from having to count the lines of any long poems. 50 lines is the max.

It's fun when we have lots of people. Glad to see the participation jump.
Mine's doing better than before. I started with a theme and a couple of related lines, and I could think of two really different directions I could go with them. Today it became pretty clear to me that one of these directions would just be awkward and confusing without knowing the context for it I have in my head. So I'm getting to work on the other direction.
Now I have a good feel for what I want to achieve. The hard part is saying a lot of it without being too prosaic.

I don’t think I could write a poem right now if my life depended on it (soccer mom brain lol) but I was wondering if you have to enter to judge. I couldn’t remember how that worked.
