I spent a few hours on the weekend looking through various myths and I still don't know what I'm doing. I do have an idea that could be solid, but it doesn't excite me. It doesn't feel like the narrative is far enough from the source material. I might end up writing it, but I want to see if I think of anything else first.

What I hate about this contest is the submission I’m working on has given me another WIP to work on when I’m trying to do vampire #2, which has passed the 20k mark. Which is where book 1 was when a developmental edit was done. I’m ball-parking it for another 25-30k.
