Thanks for asking, Raveneye and yes I’m doing okay. Went back to work to help save for daughters wedding next year.
Been writing and revising, Sundowners #2 and my space opera stories.
Had time to submit a story, received a nice rejection:

I would have entered the contest, but with Ramadan fasting going on my mind isn't running at full capacity.  Oh, gosh, no doubt! How many more weeks to go? Hoping next year the timing of the contest will be better for you! Today was the 10th day so there’s 19 or 20 more days to go, depending on the sighting of the next new moon. Next year it’ll start 10 more days earlier, so I’ll probably miss that one too lol. No worries though, I’m still working a bit everyday on that short story I started for the Noir contest. I’ll post it eventually. Even if I haven’t finished writing it yet, I feel I’ve started accomplishing my goal; the words come to me more easily now. |

Wish I'd known of your religion a while back as one of my books characters is of the Islamic faith.
I've been able to create a poem that sastifies the prompt, now to fine tune it.

I have something ready but not sure I'm entirely happy with it.
