Bird's NaNoWriMo REBEL EDITION
I refuse to be bound by the rules. I am a REBEL. 
GOAL: Between 20,000 and 25,000 words
Story focus: Either Egoni Novella OR short stories featuring my iconic Detective Duo from Elkaelia.
Detective Duo from Elkaelia is the same Duo for one of the stories I wrote for a contest earlier this year. Visikar and Mŭmoshŭ will be up to more investigative weirdness with a dose of good ole mysterious drama.
I'll add in later a summary of the Egoni Tale. I wanted to get this thread up before I forgot.
Feedback: Encouragement welcome! I'll need it likely. Avoid critting any excerpts I post though -- if I post an excerpt it'll be short and mostly because I liked how I wrote the sentence(s). When I need feedback, I'll post a longer excerpt to the critting part of our forum.

Aww, thanks all! That gives me a lot of encouragement to get writing.  So far my progress: JET STORY: Completed 11 of the 12 editing comments. Only the final one still needs completed: flesh out climax a little more. Detective Duo: 50 words. (Hard to focus this last few days). Egoni Tale: Read through what I had written thus far and edited it for clarity and to fix inconsistencies. Wrote down things I need to keep track of for the next few scenes. |

Yes! Welcome to the fun! 25K is a perfectly reasonable goal (and probably what I'll end up hitting anyway LOL)

I completely forgot this thread existed and then never updated it... 
I wrote quite a bit more words on each but no idea how much. lol
I did finish the edits for my Jet story and that was returned to the editor! So that's done.

OMG. I really did forget about this thread. *facepalm*
I keep starting things, then getting ill, and then trying to make progress, only to have a flareup, and then forgetting all about the thread I made to hold myself accountable.
Gosh, I swear LongCovid exacerbates my ADHD.
