I found a new (new to me) prompt generator today at Servicescape: www.servicescape.com/writing-prompt-generator
Anyone heard of this one or used it yet?
The prompts are broken up into genres and subgenres, and the prompts the submit button returns are REALLY DETAILED. Seems to lay out nearly every aspect of the story, leaving the HOW to the author. But the WHAT and sometimes the WHO is handed out in detail. If you're the type who likes vague prompts this generator may be too heavy-handed for you.
There's also the option to subscribe to their newsletter and receive a prompt in your inbox, daily I think, not sure yet.
