This is the culmination of my work learning to write: a gorgeous view with amazing co-workers doing work I love: a technical writer doing everything from research articles to final reports, social media, editing...whatever the day calls for, I'm their expert.
It's also the beginning as I'm considered entry level. If I stay in this profession, I can make a LOT more money still doing what I love doing. Or I can take the innovation side of things and process improvement...to also have a lucrative job doing what I love.
And yes. LegendFire and all the wonderful people here (and in the past) had a hand in me getting to this point. <3

I'm so happy to read this, I remember when things were not so rosy for you, career-wise. I think we've all been there (or are currently there). It's such a rarity to find a job you truly adore AND pays the bills! I'd love to learn more about technical writing, mainly because it makes me think of instruction manuals for some reason.

Technical writing is literally any kind of written communication or media writing. Social media, scripts, web copy, manuals also. Even marketing copy falls into that.
If it's written, and is meant to convey a message, it's technical writing. Guess what? Editors fall under this category, too.
