Voting Instructions

We are using a simple poll to rank the entries. No math required. Voting is open to all Legendfirians!

Every contestant is REQUIRED to vote. Unless excused for serious reasons, you must vote on all entries. You will receive reminders of this requirement before the end of the voting period. If you do not vote on ALL entries, your entry will be disqualified.

Please follow these steps:

1. Critique. Post a critique on all the entries except your own; you may "critique" your own as well to preserve anonymity. There's no need to assign numerical scores. Two sentences minimum per entry. See the Resources below if you need help critiquing. NOTE: voters who leave one-liner critiques (such as "I liked it.") will receive warnings according to our warning system.

2. Vote in the online poll by clicking this link and entering this following access code:

3. When prompted for your "first name," enter the beginning of your username (first 6 letters, I think) so I'll recognize you.

All Contestants: 100 Hard Honor Points for all entrants, upon submitting their entry
1st Place: an additional 200 Hard Honor Points, for a total of 300. Optional publication in the LegendFire Compendium.

Okay, what gives? Some voters bypassed the step of inputting the 1st 5 letters of their usernames. I cannot tell who 3 voters are or if they are a legit LF members. It's REALLY annoying that this step can be skipped by clicking the button without putting in letters (I know b/c I tested it). Shitty security, that.

I'm ASSUMING that all the voters are legit, so I'm going to count all the votes currently in rather than ask certain members for a do-over. But, guys, next time, please add the 1st 5 letters of your username when asked.

I hope I remembered to do that. And since everyone's supposed to vote for their own entry last, is there a vote for each entrant in last place?

Next time maybe we could choose the tier 3 poll option? That would allow the host to give unique voting URLs to all the participants, but then non-participants couldn't vote.
