A Grave Mistake
Dotted along the landscape, green foliage was beginning to turn to bright orange and yellow hues. Tucked in a clearing, a grand table was set with fine cutlery and wine. At its center, the main course: A cauldron filled with stew.
Zeus arrived to join the feast first, then Hades, Demeter, Athena, and the others soon followed.
"Come, sit. Please eat," said their host, gesturing to them. "I trust you will find my offering to your liking."
A mere glance at this "offering," and Zeus's demeanor darkened with rage. "Do you think me a fool, Tantalus? Where is your son?"
