I Spy"I spy..." I scanned the area for some object of note, and I tried to be discreet as my eyes landed on an apple in a far off tree. "Something red."
"An apple!" My daughter proclaimed. "That was easy!"
I sighed, reclining back onto our plaid picnic blanket. "You are too good at this! Alright, it's your turn."
"I spy... with my little eye..." she was almost humming. "A fairy!"
"That's not very fair. I can't see fairies."
"It's right over there! It's carrying something shiny!"
I disregarded this, but it made me wonder when my brooch turned up missing.
