Writing Challenge: The Six-Word Character Sketch

The Six-Word Character Sketch 

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write a six-word description for a new character (for example: "sharp eyes, hard mouth, unrelenting ambition”, or “saucy fearlessness, blonde hair, carefree minstrel”), and then write a scene featuring the character you have just described. The scene can be anything you wish, whether it could be put at the beginning, middle, or even end of the story. The important thing is that it features this new character. Once you've written it, this six-word sketch should go at the top of your post. DO NOT use a character you have already used in a story, or even one you have in mind but haven't written down yet. Create the character and the scene/story from scratch.



Reward: Earn a maximum of 10 Honor Points based on your excerpt's word count.



100 words or less = 10 Easy Points

101-300 words = 10 Medium Points

301-500 words = 10 Hard Points
