I passed my CPTC (Certified Professional Technical Communicator) Foundation certification exam. <3
It was more difficult than I expected. Most exams I know of just expect you to study the material and regurgitate what you've learned (I'm really good at relational memory work.), but this one really wanted you to KNOW what you studied and how it applies to technical writing/communicating. It reworded things, used words that weren't quite the same meaning, and asked tangential questions related to the usage of what I had studied.
I got a 39/50. BUT I PASSED!!! That's what really matters. lol

CONGRATS, BRIL!!! Ooo, that sounds tough. My husband tries to get a new cert per year or every other year (IT and cyber security), and those are the kind he's extra-cautious about, the "apply what we taught you" instead of the "remember the way it's worded in the book" exams. Yikes. Proud of you!
