Hey folks, I've done a couple of radio interviews these past two weeks to promo The Long, Long Afternoon - but the most in-depth one was with RTE Ireland:

Wow! Thanks for the link. I'll give this a listen! Lots of online events! And yeah, a few radio things, and there have been lots of reviews, too. So that's fantastic. They arranged a blog tour, where a different book blog was posting a review every day for 10 days.
Yep, the lockdown situation is a real bummer. Sales have been so-so so far when compared to non-pandemic times, but they're not bad in the grand scheme of things. Last week I was 65 on the list of UK hardback sales, that's one above Hilary Mantel's The Mirror and The Light ! |

Whoa!!! Your book is doing better than Mantel's new one? Score! Even if numbers aren't as high as normally they would be, that has to feel good.

Haha, kinda-sorta. It probably has to do with the fact that hers came out like a year ago, so her sales will be much lower now than they were upon her launch.
Still, I'm going to omit that factor and focus on the "I beat Hilary Mantel" part!
