Hi all, I forgot to introduce myself on the forums!

For those that don't know, I am Bootzilla. Jib invited me back in October(October?!? It's April!!) and I've been meaning to participate more, but here we are in April.

I am a musician, songwriter/composer, and music teacher who likes to dabble in poems and short stories.
I am also long winded and tend to ramble through things, so I'll just say I'm excited to be a part of the community and I'm looking forward to doing some writing.

Yay! Hi Bootzilla! My husband does a lot of music stuff, he was an a capella guy that did all the arranging for his various groups. He also plays the tuba and other brass instruments. I'm not musical. I tried. It was an epic failure. But I admire those who have that aptitude.

Oooooo, technically I play tuba, although I only play brass things for lessons these days. I tend to play mostly jazz, blues, and hippie music now, but health and Covid stuff have shut that down for the most part.

Glad you've joined us!

I taught online low brass lessons in the fall, but I started in person full time subbing as an assistant band director in February. And yeah, this past week has been especially tiring but it does feel good to be in a classroom again.
