 Keeping this in the forefront for the summer.
There is about a month and a half still to submit any content you want in the Compendium.
Reminder: There's no need to overhaul your entries unless you just want to. As long as you're happy with the content, I'll be happy with the content. Perfection is a lie. Excellence is a goal. Readability is a must.

Okay, I've updated REP's website a bit. It's still generic and limited, but rebuilding it via Wordpress with its own domain name isn't going smoothly. So this old blogger site will have to do until I can spend a few days figuring out what's going on with the new site. Still, the updated blogger site looks better than the old icky one. Clicky here to view it, if you're interested. (And I still have to update the content to reflect the Compendium, which is next on the list.) Edit: Omigosh, the press site looks soooooo much better now. Amazing how critical of things I get when I know others will be associated with it. At least, now, we'll be less embarrassed to have our names on it, until I can get the proper Wordpress site up and running. What a pain it's been. |

  Editing of submissions has begun!
If you intend to submit something for the Compendium, please do so soon, so we can pass any edits back and forth before deadline.
Edits won't be too strenuous, promise. Mostly basic copy edits. So no need to worry I'm making tons of extra work for you.
And not every piece will require edits, so take a gamble and send me something. |

I still have stories out in the market right now waiting for rejections or hopefully something better...but I'd definitely like to submit my non-fiction piece.

Okay, folks! There is ONE MONTH left to submit your work for inclusion in the Compendium. (Except for Legends entries which will be written in August.) Most of the pieces that have been submitted have been added to the master file and formatted.
So far I have received:
* 2 memoirs
* 2 poems
* 1 story
* tons of awesome 100 Word Challenges
@everyone: Would anyone be willing to submit their poetry contest entries or fiction entries? (an entry need not have won to be included among the two pieces you may submit)
Caulder Melhaire Alatariel StarGirl06 VolcanicDuck - You have winning entries among the 100 Word Weeklies. Would you like to contribute them?
Bird - I need a signed author contract from you or I cannot add your contributions to the master file. |

LOL Give me this week to get my bearings with going back to full-on in-person teaching for the first time since March 2020. I've been getting my butt kicked this week. All this sweet vacation time and I've forgotten what it's like to work for a living! But we can use anything. I only self-publish now so there's no one to get mad about rights except me, and it might even be good exposure. |

Well I have a 100-word winner, nobody else entered that week. I like my revised Mythic but not sure. I’ve a 1,400 or so short I think is good enough and my Irises poem but it wasn’t for a contest.

Yes, these need to be contest entries. At this point, at least. Depending on how things go, we may open submissions up to include non-contest pieces for future publications. But, like the submissions info says, every member may choose up to two non-winning entries for inclusion. |
