Granted! You've been handed the wonderful tool of the Time Turner, a la Hermione Granger and her inability to stay with a reasonable schedule.
You begin to use it, and use it more, ecstatic that you can now have all the time you need to get all the things you want to do...done. Then you realize that you're still aging at the same rate, and all that time adds up. Congrats. You're now a decade older than your friends that used to be the same age. Is this really having the time to get stuff done? Or shortening the time you have to enjoy life?
I wish for a new gaming computer that's good enough to not have to be replaced in a couple years.

Granted. But there is now a boom in technological advances. Your computer is only just good enough to run on the lowest possible graphical setting. Whenever you try to try to replace your computer with a new one. All the new computers you bought refuse to function and short circuit upon boot up. Now you shall spend the next few years watching your friends flex their new hardware while you can only use that potato that is just good enough to keep up with the new technology.
I wish people like the music I like.

*I'd laugh if it wasn't already true...  The evil genie just gave me my reality. lol* You hear about a "new" music that everyone jumps on board with. EVERYONE! When you listen, you realize it's the same music you've been listening to for years! At the genie's insistence, you share that fact and you are suddenly a music god. You get no sleep as people hound you for more knowledge about this wonderful music. One day, you wake up and realize...you can't stand this music anymore. Time to find something new... I wish my cats wouldn't leave their food dropped in the carpet around their dish. |

Granted! Your cats now eat every single drop of food and leave the bowl (and floor) spotless. Unfortunately, now they yak up the extra half-digested morsels in blind corners where you always seem to step on them.

BTW, Granted! You were allowed to go back in time so you could master the violin. Sadly, that was your only focus. Now you're a famous violin
player, but all your meaningful relationships that you had in your previous life are no more since you neglected to spend time rebuilding them.
I wish I could control time so I had enough to get everything done that I want to do.

Unfortunately you never know exactly which wayshrine you're going to end up at, so that split-second trip to the office ends up being a 30 minute round-the-world game of pinball until you hit the right shrine.
