In order to finish outlining the rest of my novel's second draft, I want to write out the character arcs once and for all. What are great templates/worksheets that do that? It will help me focus on the narrative set pieces, dialogue, plot moments that need to occur in the outline for the remaining two thirds of chapters.

I second this question, honestly. Would love to know where to find a helpful plot/character arc thingy to fill out.

Okay, that link led me to this character arc sheet: Which came from this page which has tons of worksheets on different aspects of writing, from drafting to business: WORKSHEETS FOR WRITERS(there are several that seem dedicated to character arcs) (some of the links were wonky; to get them to open I right-clicked and selected "open in new tab") Ooo, here's one! I really like this one too:

Great find! Apparently how I googled for stuff wasn't good enough. Not all of those elements apply to my book, bu dang... yeah.. that will be a good help for anyone here.

I have a whole series of worksheets for all this in a Google Doc form somewhere. I'll find it and get it posted in a few weeks. Soccer season is ALMOST over LOL. I also have a ton more lessons sitting in a notebook on my desk ready to post as soon as I have time. There are a lot of little strategies for building characters.
I personally use Google Sheets in a very advanced way, connecting multiple cells and sheets so you type info in one and it appears in a different place. I'll try to make a template for that. But it works like I have a page for one character and put all their details. And then I have a summary page that compares multiple characters so I don't end up with twelve redheads in the same book (because that's not statistically realistic). I have the same thing for setting and plot. But it's all set up for my books so I'll have to fix it into a general one. The nice thing about it is that I've locked all the tricky cells so you just type in your info. But I can send an unlocked version if anyone is game and knows how to do all the code for that.
