This announcement is just to give all of you a heads-up about our next event. We have a long lull before our next contest, so this is one of the things we'll do to fill the time:
WHAT: Last March we hosted a critiquing event we called Fiction Drive. Click the link to see what I'm referring to.
WHEN: January 2022.
YOUR MISSION (should you choose to accept it):
Dig through those desk drawers, delve through those files, and blow the dust off those old manuscripts and get them ready to post.
THE BRIBE: All participants will be entered into a raffle drawing for an ebook and earn Honor Points.
I will make another announcement when the event begins.
OTHER THINGS TO DO IN THE MEANTIME:
* Litterbug Junction in Interactive Writing * The Weekly 100 Word contest

Yay! Things are finally settling around here, and I'm ready to roll again! Spent all that hospital time drafting an outline for the third book in my Humbled Goddess series, which I haven't touched in almost 5 years. Perfect motivational timing!

So sorry about all the hospital time, Sci. I admire you being able to compartmentalize the time to produce something positive in the middle of it all. That's something I've learned to not bother attempting. I become a not nice person when I'm trying to work on writing things in the middle of RL stress. Like, yikes. Anyway! Will you be able to join us for the Fiction Drive?

I'm excited! Hope we get to do some longer pieces because I'm itching to share some parts of my extended Halloween contest piece!

Ooooh! Sounds interesting! Might be just the motivation I need to start editing my first full length manuscript. I realized the other day that I finished the rough draft three years ago. And I had intended on editing it and sending it out to publishers the following year. Oops.
But hey.... maybe 2022 will be the year that I finally get it done!

I have more story options than I expected, which isn't good thing, is it?

I've seven stories that are at various stages of I started them and put them off to the side. To me that seems like a lot of stories and maybe slightly indicative of not following through. Then again, it does act like a library in times of need. So maybe not as bad of a thing asI initially thought. Thanks for the perspective.

Its following through on most of what you write that matters. Sometimes, a story is better for later.
