The reason I write is in the hope readers will like my story. This was posted with a picture of my book on Wednesday.
I just finished and I wanted to send a shutout! I only have one word I can come up with for this book and it is AMAZING! I love this new way of looking at vampires and could not put it down! A must read!

Wow! That is priceless feedback, Pel. Little glimpses like this provide so much encouragement to us writers, doesn't it? Just keep doing what you're doing, eh?

Yes, we write for those who enjoy our worlds and dreams. The joy and happiness she expressed to me in Twitter messages(She knows my editor who suggested she contact me.) was flattering and made me proud of my writing.

A fourth review, a 3, which isn’t a bad review.
Summer Oakes 3.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase Intriguing approach to the history of Vampires Reviewed in Canada on January 23, 2022 Set in modern times this book tells the history of one family of vampires who fight to protect their lifestyle. When one of them reverts to killing for blood her grandson is sent to retrieve her. Rather disjointed as the story is it was a good read. I wouldn’t have bought it though if I’d known there were x-rated sections so keep that in mind fellow readers.

I asked what was meant by disjoint and this was her reply.
I do think that disjointed can work for you. I've just finished reading Vorex, by Catherine Coulter and she did the same thing that you have in that book of hers. I think what made it easier to follow in her book is that she made each transition a new chapter rather than having it happen within a chapter. It is ok to have short chapters, so many of the currently popular writers do it. Heck, I've even done it myself on occasion, lol.
My take is she felt my chapters weren’t long enough and I should expand/add to them.

Had some more feedback about disjointed writing and my book, James Paterson does this. She was referring to were I have a scene/location break, I should’ve started a new chapter. Nothing wrong with short chapters.
