HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 has arrived, and with it, a new season of the Rolling Weekly 100. The first challenge of the year has been posted, but before we begin a whole new year of prompts, let's take a quick look back at our totals from last year: After running a quick pivot table, our leaderboard ended up with a smooth 9-8-7 for first, second, and third place.
In first place, with a stellar 9 winning entries is: RAVENEYE ! Have an extra 100 Hard Points In second place, with a killer 8 entries is: Mazulla ! Have an extra 100 Medium Points In third place, with a stunning 7 entries is: FoxxGlove ! Have an extra 100 Easy Points
ALSO: pelwrath and RAVENEYE , please add an extra 10 easy points each, as I somehow forgot to clock your tie back in September, and you're both owed those extra points. Congrats to our top entrants, and thank you to EVERYONE who entered last year and kept the fun going. Here's to somewhere-around-52-barring-holidays more weeks of prompts and incredible stories!

REGARDING THE FUTURE OF THE 100 WEEKLY CHALLENGE Regrettably, this has been under consideration for a while now. The Weekly 100 seems to have hit a bit of a rough patch for over a year, with wide swaths of zero entries per week, and often only one entry on the weeks where there is participation. It sort of takes the fun out of the whole Honor Points as contest rewards thing, and makes it pointless to organize the polls with so few participants and/or votes from non-participants to break the inevitable tie. HOWEVER, I like the weekly challenge and I know others do as well, so I don't want to close it down entirely. Therefore, for the time being, the Weekly 100 will remain, but will change to an open weekly challenge moving forward. I will keep posting weekly prompts, but there will be no more polls added. Anyone who submits a response to a prompt can claim 15 Easy Honor Points for themselves on submitting. I'm going to open this up to all past Rolling Weekly prompts as well. Even for those that have already had a poll that ran and concluded - feel free to drop your entry and snag those 15 Easy points if inspiration strikes. If activity reliably picks back up again, we'll certainly bring back the old format, but for now, this is easier on everyone involved. And we're also brainstorming other similar short-form contests to add some competitive spirit back into the forum.
