RAVENEYE there are a few submission calls that made me think of YOUR stories. The halloween/haunted house one, the darkness/cave one, the ocean one, and the snake charmer one.

Oh nice! There was one call by Hellbound Books that worked for a story I wrote for one of our Halloween contests waaaaay back during the old forum days (their "Kids Are Hell" anthology). I've worked on that story many times over the years and still hope to sell it. Just subbed it, like three minutes ago. Crossing fingers. The main problem with the story though is that it's probably a cliche horror trope: kids discover something creepy in the woods. Maybe no one will notice??? LOL, suuuuure...
